Kenzie + Drew's entire day was full of special people, unique decor, and tasteful fashion and I didn't expect anything less from Kenzie + Drew going into their wedding day. I love Kenzie and Drew because they are always themselves and everything about their wedding day screamed Kenzie + Drew. Can I just start out by telling you about Kenzie's dress? Kenzie wore her moms wedding dress. She came to a family friend with her vision and her moms dress and she came out with this amazing dress that was originally her moms. That alone made the wedding amazing... but it is Kenzie + Drew... so you know they had SO many more meaningful parts of their day. Drew's grandpa and uncle are pastors and they married Kenzie and Drew in front of all of their family and friends. Kenzie has a tattoo on her forearm with part of the lyrics from "You are my Sunshine." Kenzie got this tattoo a few years back because when we was young she would always sing it with her grandpa and of course, Kenzie's grandpa sang it during their ceremony (happy tear). By far, my very favorite part of the day was when Kenzie and Drew saw each other for the first time as Kenzie walked down the isle. It was an extremely emotional moment for both Kenzie and Drew and everyone else in the church. There were so many happy tears... and happy tears are the BEST. Congratulations to my friends and high school sweet hearts, Kenzie + Drew!

Anna + Nate's wedding day was filled with fun, laughter, and love. I have known Anna + Nate for awhile, but it has been great to truly to get know them both over the last year from their engagement session and wedding and everything in-between. Anna is the sister of one of my grooms from last year, so it was really great to see their entire family again! Anna + Nate had an absolutely beautiful Fall day for their outdoor ceremony overlooking the blue bridge and their classy reception inside the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Anna and her dad win the award for best entrance into the ceremony... they rode in on a motorcycle and it was a surprise to everyone which made it even more fun! Anna + Nate had the most perfect day for their day of love. Congratulations to the new Mr. + Mrs. Forbes!

April + Jonathan had a beautiful fall wedding at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Frederik Meijer Gardens is always great... but Meijer Gardens during the Fall is even better. I have really enjoyed getting to know April + Jonathan as individuals and as a couple these last 6 months. They both have kind, genuine souls, and most importantly love each other. My absolute favorite moment and my favorite photos of the day were right after the ceremony, when it was just April + Jonathan. They got to soak in their day as husband and wife without any distractions for two minutes before guests started pouring out, and those two minutes were special. April + Jonathan weren't think about anyone else at the time and they let their emotions pour out. It was a beautiful moment (I may of even teared up a little bit). April's dress is to die for! And April made that dress look absolutely stunning; I loved the detail on the back of the dress and the buttons that went all the way down the back of the dress. April had the buttons added in, because it had always been a dream of hers since she was a little girl and they made the dress look even more beautiful. Thank you April + Jonathan for letting me be a part of your day! Congratulations to the new Mr. + Mrs.

This wedding is total eye candy all the way around. Chelsea + Brad are a beautiful couple and Chelsea had her wedding designed to a T. She had some of my favorite vendors making this day beyond beautiful. Chelsea's Renee Austin dress was to die for and Chelsea made it look even better when she put it on. Both Chelsea and Brad's families own orchards, so it only made sense for us to do their wedding photos at Brad's family orchard; it made for the perfect backdrop for Chelsea's beautiful floral arrangements and the bridal parties outfits. I didn't think the wedding could get any better, but then three of my past couples were attending the wedding (and several in the bridal party). My favorite part about my "job" is meeting new people and creating new friendships so it was so fun to see them all (you might recognize them in the pictures). Oh... another favorite... wait till you see Chelsea + Brad's dessert bar (spoiler: there were donuts)! Congratulations to the new Mr. + Mrs. VanDyke!
