Last October I had the pleasure of shooting Patrick and Jessica's engagement session in a vibrant and beautiful city of Milwaukee, WI. I knew then that this would such an amazing wedding because these two are so fun, full of life and laughter, and just genuinely awesome people. I don't think I have ever laughed and party as hard as I did with this bridal party. We created some pretty epic memories, and I don't think there was one moment where these two could avoid smiling and laughing together. It was so fun to share and document a day full of awesome moments. I wish you both many wedding journey blessings.

It's a pretty exciting thing for a wedding photographer when you have a bride with a flower crown or a cathedral veil, but when you have a bride with both... it's like wedding photographer mind explosion overload. There was just so much pretty at every turn for this wedding, not to mention a couple that was simply lovely together. Props to Ashley, she is seriously a trooper rocking her stiletto Christian Louboutins all day and even hiked into the woods to get some pictures with the horses we found along our adventures, in said stiletto Louboutins. Couldn't have asked for more, congrats to you both. It was a beautiful, emotional, heartfelt day of celebrating love, I'm honored to have documented it.

These two are simply remarkable people, they are the most kind, genuine, and warm souls you'll ever meet. Every part of their day was such a wonderful reflection of who they are as a couple from the heartfelt and personal vows, a bridal party of their closest and most special people, artistically hand-painted silk organza butterflies in Heather's hair, antique heirloom jewelry from Heather's great grandma, an array of fresh and organic food, and most importantly a couple truly in love. The love they have for each other is hard to find and a joy to document, and to think it all started in the Downtown Market with a love for cheese. Yes, even cheese can spark true love! Congrats to the newly weds, it's been an honor for me to have met you both. Many blessings in your marriage journey together.

I am so excited to share this wedding! Alyssa and I made the road trip up to Suttons Bay for an awesome celebration for Tracy and Patrick. I wouldn't normally describe a wedding day as peaceful. Weddings are normally just a busy day with lots of people in so many different directions, so many details to organize, and planning to be done, weddings days usually have a certain buzz about them. But Tracy and Patrick had this calming peacefulness throughout the entire day. We effortlessly drifted from one part of the day to the next, Tracy even had some moments to close her eyes and feel the breeze in her hair, smell the wonderful smells of spring, and listen to the soft noises of nature. Even the threat of rain waited until everyone was safely inside and seated for dinner. It was just an amazing day of celebration, laughter, and love, I am honored to have documented these great memories. Congrats to the newly weds!
