Spring Maternity | Angie and Ryan Expecting

I am so glad to have had the chance to get Angie's maternity session in before the crazy winter weather in April.  Seeing these images makes me so ready for spring, what a tease we had in March.  Luckily we had a beautiful day with some gorgeous golden light, and a beautiful expecting mother who just glowed in that warm light.  This little life is such a blessing, congrats to you both, can't wait to meet her! Greenhouse Maternity | Maria and Scott Expecting

This is another special session for me because I've had the pleasure of photographing these two for many years.  I can honestly say the best part about being a  photographer is seeing my couples over and over again throughout the years, and photographing and sharing these new milestones in life.   You bond and build a special relationship that transitions from a client to a friend, that is who Maria and Scott are to me.  Expecting your first child is one of those extra special milestones and it is truly an honor to have been your photographer from newly engaged, and now preparing to welcome this special little girl.  I'm really exciting to meet this baby, thank you for letting me share these memories with you. I've never tried this before but had a little fun experimenting with some in camera double exposure

Greenhouse Maternity | Erika & Scott Expecting

This maternity session session was just a little extra special to me because I have been photographing Erika and Scott over the last 5 years.  I first met them when they were newly engaged and I've been there every step of the way from wedding day, to their first born, Ava, and now as they welcome baby #2.  I feel like I've watched Ava grow up.  Chaya and Ava are only a few months apart in age, so we've shared funny mommy moments, laughed about silly similar things our daughters do, and I just couldn't be more excited that now Ava is going to be a big sister.  This post wouldn't be complete without thanking all the special people that made this session happen.  Merci Beaucoup Floral Design is the creative genius behind the most unique and beautiful succulent accessories and flower crown worn by Erika.  A big thank you to Romence Gardens & Greenhouse and Everlasting Blooms who were so generous and kind to let us use their beautiful greenhouses for our photo backdrop...and during busy open hours!
