Simply put, these two are a super fun couple. The evening for their engagement session was a sauna, no exaggeration. We had multiple breaks of cooling off in the air conditioned car and every time we opened that door tostepped back outside we felt a blast of humid, sticky, blazing hot air. Needless to say, it's no easy feat to enjoy cuddling, kissing, and blissfully laughing in Michigan humidity but AJ & Molly made it look amazing. They have an ease and comfort in just being next to each other, their laughter and love is genuine. I'm so honored to have been asked to photograph it.
Thank you to the kind Casey Lemieux of The Flower Garden for letting us use her gorgeous farm. A very special thank you to the sweet Alyssa Ferguson from Fleurology Designs for designing and creating Molly's beautiful flower comb, and helping with the many behind the scenes logistics. We couldn't have made this session happen without you
I am going to start by saying that Christina + Brady had one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremonies I have seen, from the handmade wooden arch, to the custom large barn doors, in the middle of an alfalfa field (that was planted just for the wedding), overlooking Christina's families farm. It was just beautiful. Another favorite thing about the Fischer's wedding was that almost all of their vendors were people that they knew. Talk about shopping local when it comes to your wedding and supporting those you know; it makes your wedding even more special. Wait till you see the yummy desserts thanks to Wildflour Cakes + Pastry. Christina + Brady had the most beautiful... and most FUN day and I am so happy I was able to capture it! Congratulations to the new Mr + Mrs Fischer.

Where do I begin? I don't think I have the right words to even explain how overjoyed I am for these two friends of mine to have found each other and to start their lives together. I have been friends with Nicole since we were in middle school and it is completely obvious that Nicole and Ben were meant to find each other at these exact moments in their lives. They compliment each other so well and have so many of the same interests... including both being teachers and soccer coaches (I think they will have some all-star soccer babies one day). Some highlights of the day included the truck that you will see in many of the photos; the truck belonged to Nicole's grandpa and was also in the first picture that Ben and Nicole ever took together. Nicole + Ben shared the most perfect no look right before the ceremony where they shared a prayer and letters to one another (I did all I could to hold back the tears). Nicole made her own yummy cakes.... I know... I am still wondering how she pulled all of that off! They had the cutest kiddos in their wedding and they were all their nieces and nephews. Nicole grew up visiting Bowens Mills and going on the swing and the slide on the grounds (and Nicole and I used to go on the rope swing together throughout middle school and high school, on the river that runs right behind the cider mill). Those are just a few of the highlights of their perfect day. I hope these photos show just how perfect these two are for one another and just how wonderful their day of love was. Nicole + Ben, thank you so much for allowing me to capture such an important time in your lives. Cheers!

These two are simply remarkable people, they are the most kind, genuine, and warm souls you'll ever meet. Every part of their day was such a wonderful reflection of who they are as a couple from the heartfelt and personal vows, a bridal party of their closest and most special people, artistically hand-painted silk organza butterflies in Heather's hair, antique heirloom jewelry from Heather's great grandma, an array of fresh and organic food, and most importantly a couple truly in love. The love they have for each other is hard to find and a joy to document, and to think it all started in the Downtown Market with a love for cheese. Yes, even cheese can spark true love! Congrats to the newly weds, it's been an honor for me to have met you both. Many blessings in your marriage journey together.
