This precious little girl was an amazing sleeper. She came in at about 2 weeks old, which made me just a little nervous because after a week they just don't stay as sleepy, but little Alison was a dream. She even gave me a few sweet smiles, and look at those lashes. Shes going to be a gorgeous girl!
These two are just adorable together. A winter engagement session can be pretty tough, it's hard to cuddle and feel romantic together when you have 4 layers on and a coat with a scarf, bone chilling wind, trudging through snow, frozen fingers, and probably a whole list of other things I haven't mentioned...but these two are amazing. They are definitely troopers for battling the winter but can't you just tell from these pictures that they are just so perfect together. They make each other laugh and are just so natural and genuine together. I couldn't have asked for better, thank you guys for powering through a winter session and trusting me to capture this most precious time in your journey together. -Phrené
I really enjoyed this engagement session. For one, Kelly is my cousin and a photographer herself, so it was an honor for her to pick me as her photographer. Not only that, but Kelly and Zac were up for a fun lifestyle engagement session with a bonfire. Kelly and Zac enjoy so many of the same things including bonfires so I thought it was so great that we decided to add in a winter bonfire for our chilly afternoon. They snuggled up by a fire drinking hot chocolate and it was beautiful. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I keep searching for the perfect word to describe that feeling of becoming a new parent and meeting that little face for the first time, but I continue to fall short. The best way I can describe it is an overwhelming joy and an immediate love bigger then you ever imagined you could love. As my daughter gets a little older every year I get a little more and more sentimental about that moment, it still brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. As cliched as it sounds, they are a sweet tiny baby for just a short time and you feel like you blink and poof, they've grown up. I think that's why I love photographing these tiny little babies so, so much. Myla Grace came in to see me at just 9 days new, and I just loved getting in all those baby snuggles. She is just the sweetest little girl, I have yet to have a baby smile so much through her newborn session. I'm sure she's going to be all giggles very, very soon. Congrats to you both on your precious little bundle! - Phrené
